Stripped Facts
DHA & The FDA:
The active ingredient in self tanning products is dihydroxyacetone (DHA). DHA has been used in cosmetic preparations for almost 30 years and was listed with the FDA in 1973. It is declared safe and suitable for use in cosmetics and used to color the skin. DHA is derived from glycerin (vegetable origin) which is a commonly used cosmetic and food ingredient. DHA is not absorbed into the body and poses no possibility of toxicity.
To Be Fair
Our Stripped Tanning™ signature solution will react naturally with each specific skin tone. Stripped Tanning™ airbrush technicians will custom blend a formulation specific to each client's natural base color. However, if it is your first time tanning, or you have an extremely fair complexion, we suggest choosing a lighter tone to ensure satisfaction. Very fair complexed individuals may require a follow up session 12-24 hours later.

As a MAC certified artist, Sofia combines her natural-born talent with her love of airbrush tans & staying healthy.
This mumtrepreneur believes you shouldn't have to sacrifice feeling good and looking your best due to lifes demands; which is why she makes the process as convenient & stress-free as possible.
